Tiny Tumbling

Prerequisites: None

Athletes will focus on the basic building blocks of tumbling – forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands and round offs.

 

Tumbling Level 1 (Beginner – Basics)              

Prerequisites: None

Athletes in this class will focus on the basic building blocks of tumbling – handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, backbend kickovers, and front limbers.

 

Tumbling Level 2 (Intermediate – Handsprings)      

Prerequisites: Backbend Kickover, Front Limber and Round-off or Coaches Recommendation Athletes in this class will focus on drills and conditioning needed for standing and running front and back handsprings.

 

Tumbling Level 3 (Advanced – Tucks)           

Prerequisites: Standing Backhandspring and Round-off Backhandspring or Coaches Recommendation

Athletes in this class will focus on front and back tucks as well as standing multiple back handsprings and jumps connected to backhandsprings.

 

Tumbling Level 4 (Elite – Layouts)                 

Prerequisites: Round-off Tuck and Punch Front Tuck or Coaches Recommendation

Athletes in this class will focus on connecting several skills with flight into one pass, layouts, and standing tucks.

 

Tumbling Level 5 (Advanced Elite – Fulls) 

Prerequisites: Round-off Layout, Standing Back Tuck and Punch Front Step Out or Coaches Recommendation

Athletes in this class will focus on connecting several skills with flight into one pass, fulls, double fulls, and jump tuck combinations.
